Evidence-based methods, adapted to the person in front of me. Not the other way around.
"I believe that the therapeutic process works best as a genuine collaboration, and that together we can make lasting change."
I use an eclectic approach. I draw from many evidence-based methods and choose what fits the person in front of me. No rigid protocol. No one-size-fits-all answer.
Most of my work is shaped by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) alongside attachment-based and psychodynamic thinking. But the approach is always secondary to the relationship.
If you have tried therapy before and it did not work, there is a good chance it was not the right fit. That is what the free consultation is for.
A 15-minute phone call. You can ask anything, share what is on your mind, and get a feel for whether talking to me feels right. No obligation. No pressure.
We take time to understand your history, your goals, and what matters most to you. There is no agenda beyond listening carefully and building trust.
Sessions are collaborative and adaptive. We adjust as you grow. Some weeks we go deep. Others we focus on practical tools. It depends on what you need that week.
The goal is not to keep you in therapy forever. It is to give you the self-awareness and tools to navigate life with more ease, long after our work together is done.
I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Based therapy, Coaching, Culturally Sensitive practice, Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative therapy, Person-Centered therapy, Psychodynamic work, Relational approaches, and Strength-Based methods.
